"From ICONE-1 until now and beyond: selected and predictable advancements in nuclear thermal-hydraulics"

Bio:
Prof. Francesco D’Auria is a retired Full Professor of Nuclear Thermal-Hydraulics at the University of Pisa, Italy, and an internationally recognized expert in nuclear reactor safety and thermal-hydraulics. He has played leading roles in numerous international activities within the OECD/NEA, IAEA, and ANS, particularly in best-estimate plus uncertainty (BEPU), scaling, and reactor safety assessment. He is Editor-in-Chief of Nuclear Engineering and Design and has authored or co-authored more than 1,200 papers, reports, and books. His honors include the ANS Technical Achievement Award, ANS Fellow, and NURETH Scholar Award. He has also chaired major international conferences and contributed extensively to the advancement of nuclear safety methodologies worldwide.
